Top hotel, stay there regularly on business and leisure trips. Helpful and kind staff. Can get pricey in summer months though

What can I say, our experience was not of the best. The hotel itself has been refurbished recently and has all the needed amenities. However when it comes to the fine details, it lacks of the simple human touch. The majority of the people that are in reception are simply not skilled for customer service duties. They have no idea of what it means to make a customer happy. From the simple things of making sure that you welcome your guest, to the proper treatment when a problem arise.

We really loved the place! Rooms are perfect for families. Stylish. Clean. Staff is young but really helpful! We had a problem with extension of our visa and the person at reception also agreed to write for us a letter in Russian that was essential for letting us solve the question. Very good ratio quality/ price. Most of all Petrograd is a wonderful area if you are visiting packed-August Saint Petersburg!
