Outstanding cathedral in the city with a rich history. Recently restored, now it shows its full splendour. Every piece outside and inside, from the original metal doors to the beautiful halls inside are worth admiring and visiting.

cathedral of the feodorovskaya icon of the mother of god. errected to commemorate the tercentenary of the romanov dynasty in 1913. grand duke mikhail alexandrovich, brother of tsar nicholas II, overlooked the planing. after fall of the monarchy in 1917 the cathedral was alter transformed into a milk plant and alterations to the building took place. yet after the fall of soviet union the cathedral was handed back to church and renovation took place. nowadays the cathedral (lower and upper church) as well as its surrounding shine again from exterior and interior, too. a small chapel was added next to it to commemorate the new martyrs.
