This rather large wooden house was built by the famous architect Lars Sonck, the author of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Helsinki, for his cousin Karl. In Soviet times, the collective farm board and housing for its workers were located here. After the collapse of the collective farm, the house fell into disrepair and would have been completely destroyed, but, fortunately, there were people who wanted to save it. Now they are the owners of this house, which has become a monument of republican significance, and they are investing huge funds and efforts in its restoration.
