Wonderfully warm city museum of local lore Pitkäranta. It is located in a cozy two-story house of an apothecary, pharmacist. An honorary citizen of the city and a large father. The museum has a wonderful people who love their city and museum. Most of all, for some reason, we remember the Scary Eric - an old doll-dummy, inmate and guard of the second floor, guarding large almandines (Karelian grenades from the Kitel deposit). And another room with a loom, behind which you can work with all your heart and the most beautiful in the museum hall - with handicrafts of girls-needlewomen. The least impressed was the hall with stuffed forest dwellers. It would be better to have a photo-hall with live animals against the backdrop of a delightful Karelian nature. The exposition on the Finnish war and the book of memory of our soldiers who died or are missing on the Mannerheim Line is a BOL. THANKS TO THE MUSEUM EMPLOYEES!

Interesting place! Wonderful workers! Good presentation of exhibits in exhibitions. Interesting for different ages!

In the museum were on the tree and at first very scared. But as it turned out, a little later in life I did not see such catchy and cool buffoons! Everyone was lying on the floor laughing, the children were delighted. Kuzya cooler all !!!!! I highly recommend. It's a pity, but the exhibits themselves were not shown to us and we did not see anything except empty halls.
