Russian museum at it's peak as a classical amusement resort.

Russian museum worth seeing for its numerous collection of Russian art. On Thursdays it works until 9pm, so you can enjoy the beautiful paintings longer. They also have fantastic exhibitions. It is the must see in St.Petersburg.

Excellent collection of the Russian modern art from the turn of the 20th Century: Chagall, Kandinsky, Malevich, Serov, Petrov-Vodkin, Vrubel, Kustodiev, Larionov, Goncharova, etc. There is a nice cafe inside with delicious food - nice place to have a break.
