Grand museum. Lots of rocket engines. Spy sat and Soyuz 16 landing capsules. Space suits. Control station of Soviet lunar rover. Instruments and tools from orbital stations. Lots of materials on early and recent history of Soviet cosmonautics.

The begging is boring as it shows biographies of some dudes who did an impact to space exploration etc. This part was only in Russian so skipped it really quickly. The second part is for engineers who are interested in a engines and their parts. Ant the last and most interesting part of exposition shows real rockets and spacecrafts. So the end of exposition pays off for boring beginning. P.S. I really recommend to sit and spend a few minutes watching videos of Gagarin's glory years (with a Soviet point of view) on TV.

2/3 of the exhibition are only in Russian. In the other third there is a long Russian Text and a two-sentence translation. Overall, there is a lot of text to read, and not much to see. It's a quite small museum. If you are a student. Sorry, discount only for Russian students. I would not recommend it.

It was wonderful to get to see everything in the museum. I only wish that they could write the labels in English as well, so I could understand rather than guessing what I see.

The museum has a high potential but 90% is in cirillic. Only few (not relevant informations) are written in English. It is a pity because it could help the majority of the tourist to understand the great contribution of Russia to space exploration
