I was staying in summer 2017 and I remember getting a good impression. At that time there was the renovation building and still, the rooms seemed very modern and clean. Very close to all sites on foot. Although if you want to go to the main streets in the center, it may be convenient to go by public transport (although I did it on foot). And near the river, there were very good Russian restaurants and at a price not so expensive, to be a tourist area. By the way, in its day it was raining and it took me a lot to find the site, because since all the buildings in the area were under construction, the numbering of the buildings was not at all clear; and there was also no sign that said "Hotel" in Latin alphabet. Yes, there was a small sign that indicated it, but in Russian, so I arrived a bit by luck and thinking I was entering a private home.
