The purpose of this small museum with a meager number of exhibits and even near the Savior on Spilled Blood is not clear - all of them could be put up compactly in any museum, even in St. Isaac’s Cathedral itself (given that one of the main exhibits of the stone museum is a delightful reduced copy of this cathedral). Why keep a separate building and staff for the sake of this micro collection? Apparently for the additional collection of money from visitors through ticket sales? So you can get to the sale of tickets in museums separately in each room ...
