Reviews
Мария Потапова (03/10/2020)
My review of the GRAN school may be of help to someone to decide whether or not to leave public school. First of all, when choosing a school, we looked at the reviews of parents and graduates. It was important for us that the school was not new, “experienced”, if I may say so. This school has existed for 26 years, and has released more than one generation, which means that the school has passed a lot of “tests”, more than one crisis has passed, so the school is not “one-day”. The number of children in the class is also important. We wanted our child to really study, and not just sit in class. It is important that my son has the opportunity to stay at school if I suddenly have force majeure, and I can’t pick him up on time. It is important that I know that he is supervised, fed and, while waiting for me, can do homework or study in a circle. And I really wanted a five-day trip, otherwise I couldn’t leave the city for the weekend because of studies on Saturdays. This is all we saw here at the GRAN school. I really liked that you can go to school within a year, as there was already not enough patience to study at a large school. When we first came to "get acquainted" with the school, we were told everything, showed, had a tour of the school, talked with our son, a psychologist and teachers conducted testing. The Russian son wrote well, but with mathematics it was more problematic, but the basic knowledge is still quite good (we studied with a tutor), so we were given a green color for studying in Gran. In the classroom there are few children, quiet, cozy, comfortable, the teacher always has time to pay attention to everyone. The food at school is ordinary, home-made, the son eats almost everything. The guys at school also liked them, their faces were all with smiles, and did not see a single “gagged” or offended child, seemingly smart modern guys. There are no uniforms in high school, just a business style of clothing. My son in Gran really likes it, he had “friction” in the last school, he is not very sociable with me, and, so to speak, lives in his own world, but here he already has a friend, and everything is calm in the classroom, without of nerves, and so she goes to school calmly in the morning, and I don’t worry about his mental state, knowing that he is studying, gaining knowledge, and not surviving .. Many different extra classes at school, debates, excursions, trips to the classroom or the whole school ... Now the children are preparing for a trip to England, we did not succeed this year, but in the future we plan we have to ride. I know that some of the children after the GRAN school continued to study abroad, that is, the level of knowledge that the school gives is quite high, although of course it all depends on the child himself, his zeal and desire to study. Now we can cope without tutors, if something does not understand, then it remains after classes for consultations. We like everything, the son’s results are excellent, the son became calm, and what else does mom need))) we don’t regret our transition, the only thing we regret is that we didn’t go here to first grade, how much time and nerves we lost. Thanks to the teachers, the school of gran and leadership, thank you for really teaching children, giving knowledge is not a "tick". Sincerely, Potapova M.S.
