My wife and I (as well as 6 others) were on the Viking ship touring the Baltic Sea. We found this group on line and were impressed with the detail and reasonable pricing. And Elena was an EXCELLENT guide, very informative and excited about history and landmarks. She took amazing care of us, and kept us enthralled with her knowledge and great sense of humor. Always smiling and happy to answer all questions and help where she was needed. Very professional and engaging, It was a great trip!

A group of only three we were made to feel like VIP's.Olga our highly professional guide could not do enough for us. We got to see all of the major attractions but what was even more impressive was the fact that Olga got us into side entrances of the various venues about half an hour ahead of the crowd. The uninterrupted view of the spectacular rooms at the Hermitage Museum and Catherine's Palace without the crowds was very much appreciated. Anyone contemplating on doing this tour on their own should definitely reconsider since there is no guarantee that you will even get into the venues. For us Alex's Tours, Olga and the very obliging driver Oleg all made our experience unforgettable and highly recommendable.

Alex is extraordinary. I have always struggled with foreign languages but understand from those who pick up other languages more easily that learning to be sarcastic and funny in a foreign language demonstrates mastery – well Alex can do both. The guides that Alex selects to accompany his guests to museums and historic sites are fully licensed by the Russian government and are required to pass rigorous knowledge and language tests. Most important is Alex’s interest in ensuring that you have the experience that you want to have. He will customize the tours to suit your interests. He will adjust the schedule if you want to make a mid-course correction. If you want to see the ballet (or some other kind of show) he will get you really good tickets.

We visited st Petersburg last week and took the two day tour . Our guide Elena was absolutely brilliant , she was really great at looking after our group (regularly counting us so no one got lost) her timing was perfect so we saw as much as possible in the two days . Elena was also a lovely lady , she gave us so much extra info on life in St. Petersburg over the years. We were really lucky we got her and after returning to cruise ship and comparing with fellow passengers we had the best experience. Our driver Vladimir was also great. We highly recommend Alex’s Tours

I would like to express our wonderful tour we had with Alex’s team, excellent guide & driver in Saint Petersburg this past week. Our guide impressed me with her knowledge and compassion for my mom, who was a bit slower than the rest of our group. I will always remember our visit to Saint Petersburg, a beautiful city and equally great service.
