Great discount supermarket. They are conveniently located all over Saint Petersburg. Not a huge selection but there is enough to get what you need. The fruits an vegetables are not the best, nor is there much to choose from. But overall for value it's hard to beat their prices and product quality. If you are on a budget, like say a backpacker, then this is where you need to shop. Maybe just find fruits and veggies on local street markets sold by old ladies.

How can you post specials on products within the store that are not honored at checkout? I was really excited about this sale price on Kozel and grabbed 8 cans for the house. At checkout, the cashier rings the beer up at 64 rubles a can, twice the advertised price. Neither the cashier nor store manager could figure out what the problem was, so I had to put the beer back since it is on sale at Spar for 49 rubles a can.

Extremely cramped, and the selection leaves one wanting way more. On top of that, the prices weren't great, even if it is in the middle of the city.
