Cathedral of the Archangel Michael

We encountered this Cathedral and were delightfully surprised while en route to the Oranienbaum Palace. It is undergoing some restoration work but it is nonetheless absolutely gorgeous and the high altar is heavenly. I lit a candle for my family here and we even witnessed a baptism and spoke to one of the very welcoming clerics. I then bought a few icons from the little gift shop also located there. This was one of my warmest and most blessed memories while in Russia.

A very beautiful temple in a magnificent suburb of St. Petersburg. I love small cities. There are a lot of greenery and people, it seems to me more humane.

I like to be here. A cozy and warm place for the soul. You can sit and think, thank and ask the Almighty. Ministers are very nice people. I look forward to the completion of the repair.
