Arena Otel'

The hotel really only has one redeeming property: it's part of the Sibur arena complex. If your main reason to visit is related to the Sibur Arena, it's great how easy it is to access. Do not expect good breakfast choices, rooms are fairly small and when I visited, there was a drift car party every night on the parking lot right outside the hotel, making it hard to get a good night sleep (if you go to bed before 3am). The staff is pleasant enough, though English language is limited. They understand and speak to a degree, but don't expect too much. WiFi was usable.

Good sound insulation, no one bothered us. It was pleasant to return to the room after long walks. There is a cool place nearby - Karl and Friedrich with their own brewery. Beautiful sunsets were admired on the embankment. A very interesting area, I recommend to visit here.

Stayed at the hotel for the weekend and had such a wonderful stay! There are 2 large parks nearby, there is a shopping center nearby, and most importantly - it is quiet and calm, not like in the center ... Diverse leisure is definitely guaranteed! And the hotel itself has a pleasant atmosphere: I liked the interior of the room, it is very cozy, although I lived only 2 days, the room was cleaned anyway - this is a plus! Polite staff, and, of course, delighted the delicious breakfasts) Would come back here again!

I stayed at the Arena for the first time (and not the last!), Before that I also lived on Krestovsky Island, but in a different hotel. Here I liked it more, the state of the hotel is many times better, there is a pool and a keen interest in each guest. Thanks to the staff for their attentiveness!

I really hope that this review will be read by Anna (I do not know the position) and potential visitors. He lived from 09/11 to 09/17/2020, during this period there was no additional cleaning and just vacuuming, dirt and dust under the sofas, cupboards. In the bathroom there was only a soap dispenser above the bathtub, the toilet was flushed constantly, the walls were as dirty as the floor. Cleaning was reduced to laying out pillows on the couch and dressing the foot of the bed. Second, the breakfast is amazing! When we were, there were 4 tables that were constantly occupied. One employee performs at breakfast both the role of the cook and the role of the waiter and at the same time the role of the administrator, with all the ensuing negative consequences. To avoid conflicts, they were asked to make breakfast in the boxes, they were taken and had breakfast in the room. Third, I omit the barely disguised dissatisfaction of the staff with any request, I omit that when we checked in for two hours they figured out how much I had to pay, then I omit a lot of breakfast "pancakes or scrambled eggs or cheesecakes", which is unworthy of a hotel located near the largest sports facilities in St. Petersburg and those who have the opportunity to make good money with proper administration. Conclusion: until the staff change, management - stay away from this hotel. For this conclusion I am ready to bear any responsibility, since everything written is ready to be confirmed by a photo.
