Very friendly staff, very clean and hot room, nice breakfast but ask for a room far way from restaurant.

Excellent hotel not too far from the city center (two stations to either Admiralteyskaya or Nevskiy Prospekt), on a rather quiet street less than 5 minutes away from the metro. Large and very clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom, good wifi, rich breakfast. Most of the staff spoke good English and everyone was very polite and helpful. A good Caucasian restaurant is right next door, while a 24/7 supermarket can be found just a block away. The only negative item was that there's absolutely no channel in any other language than Russian to be found on TV. Indeed, one doesn't come to St. Petersburg to watch TV, but still it would be nice to have at least an international channel to enjoy before sleep

Communal space is a bit odd and still work-in-process, but rooms are more than adequate. Staff is generally polite and helpful. This would be 5 stars, if they only had air-conditioning or at least a fan.
