They advertise themselves under various names (in particular in google maps), but in fact it is one and the same electronics repair company. Background. The screen turned off, the computer stopped responding to user actions: - when starting the system in the final position of the progress bar of the "Apple" screen; - directly during the operation of the system. My actions. Has taken all possible measures described in official guides, as well as blogs and forums; As a last resort, he decided to disassemble and clean it from dust and debris; At this stage, tore off 2 connectors for connecting loops. Search for a workshop. The choice of a microelectronics repair company was based on 2 criteria: - the ability to repair before December 6 (due to the circumstances of personal character); - the availability of free diagnostics (the problem from the background should have been solved too). Unfortunately, choosing this particular company, I gave the product to them for repair. They called back on November 29 and reported: - the problem from the prehistory was associated with overheating (the need for full cleaning); - the connectors torn off by me will be attached; - the issue price is 8250 rubles and for 2, maximum 3 days, the work will be completed. Since it was not immediately agreed whether the company worked on the weekend, I waited three business days, and on the evening of December 3 I called back myself. I was notified: - waiting for spare parts, so the delay; - found that the cable from one of the coolers is broken; - tentatively, December 5, the work will be completed. December 5 afternoon, no longer able to wait, I was forced to go pick up the computer. The company was very upset: - the work has already been completed, waiting only for the cooler; - the cooler is expensive and order it from afar; - without a cooler, the computer cannot work. I explained the situation and recalled that for the telephone recording, the repair period of 2-3 days was initially announced to me. He also clarified essentially the same thing in two different formulations: - are there 2 connectors attached that I tore off (one of which is just under the cooler, the cable of which "broke"); - if you buy a cooler with a whole loop, then its connection will be possible (just because the connector is attached). The answer was no hesitation in the affirmative, and I paid the agreed amount. Of course, I could not help but verify how the work was actually done. I also wanted to find out what really happened with the cooler cable. It turned out the following: - none of the 2 connectors are attached; - the cooler loop, the whole before the repair, is broken. These were the facts. Now, my guess is that these scammers acted as follows: - Mediocre repairmen, from the very beginning, by crooked-foot, they broke the cooler cable; - Remembering that I will have to pick up the computer soon, they decided to take time; - Justified by the expectation of receipt of parts, they, in principle, did not deal with it anymore; - Taking advantage of the lack of the opportunity to check the quality of repairs on site, they deliberately took the money for nothing; - They put pressure on pity, trying to make money out for a cooler, which they supposedly had to bring from day to day. To what extent this conjecture is justified is easy to judge by comparing the photos before and after the repair. Note. In the photo before the repair, there is still a connector for the cooler cable. I tore off this connector a bit later, and its damage finally forced me to seek the help of professionals.
