Memorial'nyy Kompleks

The memorial complex is located on the communal grave of Soviet soldiers of the village of Sergievskaya, as well as the soldiers of the 409th Armenian division, who died in battles with the fascist invaders in 1943. 409 Armenian division was formed in September 1941 in Leninakan. Took part in the liberation of the Kuban, Ukraine, Moldavia, Romania, Hungary, Austria and Czechoslovakia. On January 8, 1944, the division was awarded the honorary title of "Kirovogradskaya" by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Also on the territory of the memorial complex is a khachkar from the Krasnodar regional branch of the Union of Armenians of Russia. The memorial complex was established in 1975. The project was developed by the institute "Armpromproekt" (Armenia), whose director at that time was Grigoryan M.V. The author of the project - Vaganian KN. The author of the idea is Timchenko M.S.
