There's a wonderful guide Larisa Ischenko. Many nice masterpieces of Levitan and his companions.

The guide (local lady who really likes her job and who is a true fan of Levitan) was just fantastic!

The museum workers clearly have a covid brain. We arrived there on Thursday, but they didn’t let us in. only 5 visitors should be in the museum at the same time, and only half an hour is given for inspection! We were able to make an appointment only for Saturday (the phone number to call is in the photo). We came a little earlier to fill out a "phony letter" about our health and pay, but the guard opened the gate 2 minutes later than the beginning of our time, as a result, we started viewing the exposition 6 minutes later than the recorded time. It turned out that only a cursory examination of the paintings and the recreated interior of the rooms. After 24 minutes, the museum curator asked us to leave, because the excursion for the next group has already begun. For a thoughtful consideration / reading of everything that is on display in the museum, it is better to wait until the end of the pandemic, or, for example, try to book and pay for the time 2 times for half an hour, so as not to be humiliated by some minutes.

The house is not big, but everything is done well. There is an exposition that can be viewed in 20 minutes, and on the second floor the two rooms in which they lived are also interesting. Of course, everyday life is partially recreated, but very authentic. Near the house there is a monument to I. I. Levitan. And actually not far away there is a staircase that leads to Mount Levitan.

A very cozy little museum. Very beautiful paintings. I especially liked the painting Crimean landscape.
