The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral was built between 1670 and 1820. Initial construction work was carried out in the 1660s. Construction was resumed in 1792-1794. The consecration took place on March 19, 1805. The bell tower was completed in 1887. It belongs to the Kostroma and Galich diocese to the seventh deanery district (parishes of the Chukhloma and Soligalich districts). Now inactive.
