The Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior (Transfiguration Cathedral) was built in 1758. It belongs to the Kostroma and Galich diocese to the eighth deanery district (parishes of the Kadyi, Nei, Ostrovsky, Sudislavsky districts). There are thrones in the cathedral: the Transfiguration of the Savior, Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Nativity of Christ. Located in the center of the village on Cathedral Mountain.

Beautiful and majestic Cathedral of the Transfiguration (1758), located on one of the highest points in the area, he seems to be hovering over Sudislavl guarding the town of his power. From the foot of the cathedral, a picturesque provincial panorama opens up. At the walls of the cathedral, as well as inside it, everyone can find a quiet joy for his soul.
