Pamp-Trek

Pamp-track (pump track, from the English pump - download and English track - track) - a special bicycle track, which is an alternation of holes, bumps and counterclones and does not contain smooth sections. The peculiarity of the pump tracks is that speed is set and maintained not due to pedaling, but using a special technique of passing (“pumping”) waves - the bicycle “squeezes” into the pits and “relaxes” on the bumps. The track usually has a relatively short length (tens of meters) and is made circular. Forks and intersections are possible to organize a variety of routes. Light, bumpy, mountain bicycles or BMX are best suited for riding the pamp track. Competitions involve the passage of a certain route on the track for the minimum time.
