Holy Trinity Church

Ramenye village is located in Kumyonsky district of the Kirov region. It was founded in 1660 and would not stand out from a huge number of similar settlements, if not the Trinity Church, originally a wooden one, now stone and abandoned. The existing version was built in 1774. The parish consisted of 37 villages. It also housed the women's parochial and male Zemstvo school. Today they are trying to restore the object, but apart from the forests visible on one of the photos and the lonely concrete mixer inside, nothing hints at this. We got there at sunset. The church, despite significant destruction, looked majestic and impressive.

The church is in an abandoned state, the restoration is unlikely to be planned, but it seems that some of the locals still go there, because inside there are icons and a candlestick on the floor. The church itself was very beautiful inside, especially I liked the iconostasis (at least what was left of it). P.S. Today, 04/05/2019 was again here, and the church began to be restored, which is good news! Photos are attached.
