Central Library. In 1972 a one-story brick building was built, and in 1988 a two-story annex was made. The Belokholunitsky Folk Library was opened on May 23, 1896 by the decision of the Main-Kholunitsky volost assembly. Since 1915 Boris Nikolayevich Borisov was a librarian. After the Great October Socialist Revolution in 1919, the Belokholunitsky Library was transferred to the building of the plant manager. In 1923, Anna Nikolaevna Kuvarzina was appointed the head of the Belokholunitskaya library. She did a great job of eradicating illiteracy among the population. In 1968, Olga Sergeyevna Andreeva headed the district library. The library was then located on the street. Glazyrin, in a building that was overhauled, was simultaneously building a new one. And in January 1973 the library moved to a new, adapted building along Healthcare Street. In 1988, the construction of a new building of the central library was completed. The building was erected as an extension to an existing building, it was built for 5 years.
