They stripped them to their underwear, each received a wooden mallet on the head, so as not to resist, knit arms, legs, threw into the car. They covered them with a tarpaulin, a supervisor sat on top of them, who had a metal cane with a hammer soldered at the end, with which they beat those who moved or gave a voice, so to run, you understand ... They drove at night, in November, there were already frosts. The way, which now takes about twenty minutes, was done by cars in one and a half to two hours. Among those transported to Medgora were very sick people who simply screamed in pain - they were simply strangled with a towel. This information is from a criminal case against the captain of state security Matveyev, who directed the operation and personally shot. This is a famous comrade. He was tried in the 39th or 40th year, was given several years in the camps, then released. Everything is as it should be: at 39, they removed those who did "dirty work" at 38; at 40 - who is at 39 and so on. Yuri Alekseevich told how the list of those who had been shot was being collected bit by bit. But it turned out that there is still a lot to do. The communist steam locomotive swept past, leaving behind secret pits with human bones. They, like leprosy ulcers, covered the vast expanses of our long-suffering homeland. Those who did not make the revolution lie in these pits, and those who did, who did not support the revolution and who supported, lie those who did all this ...
