The municipal institution of culture "Igrinsky Regional Museum of Local Lore" was opened on September 28, 1993. The first exposition of the museum was devoted to the history of the timber industry and its people. She attracted attention, made people talk about the museum. The Igrinsky Museum of Local Lore has three branches: the center of Udmurt culture in the village of Sundur, the Museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union S.M. Strelkov in the village. Zura, Museum "Stage Point" v. village Bachkeevo. Currently, the museum's expositions tell about the nature of the native land, ethnography, the history of science, culture, industry, the military and labor glory of fellow countrymen. The museum has over 3,000 exhibits. A friendly creative team works in the museum, looking for new forms of activity, developing projects to improve work with the population, to update the material and technical base. Museum staff have developed two excursion routes around the area, which are popular in the republic.

I was on a tour from the excursion center "Fall in love with Udmurtia" from Izhevsk on the day of the festival "From Pelnyanya to China". I was very surprised that there is such a modern interactive museum in the regional center! In addition to a very informative tour about the Udmurt life, we were given a master class in making souvenirs. I liked everything very much! Maybe I'll come again.

Great place for a family vacation. Many interesting events. Very qualified staff, well aware of their work. After the reconstruction, the museum changed a lot, became modern. Now you can familiarize yourself with the richest collection of songs of the Siberian tract, a video exposition has appeared. A separate room for outdoor activities, master classes or conferences. Lovely museum! Small, but very informative. You can learn the history of the village, about the hero of Udmurt fairy tales Lopsho-Pedun. The museum is conveniently located, 500 meters from the bus station. Next to the museum is the Ethno-Park Egra. Beautiful ice sculptures, houses made of ice. Wooden sculptures. There is also a stage where holidays are held. I recommend to visit the village Game, a museum and a park!
