Beauty! Marble canyon, nature, lakes and steam locomotives. I highly recommend it! Many come for one day, a retro train with a steam locomotive runs from the station of Sortavala, brings tourists in the morning and picks them up in the evening. Do not take suitcases on wheels, there is nowhere to roll them! only backpacks. Tickets for excursions are purchased right at the railway station; there is also a left-luggage office. The station has no taxi drivers or buses, only the entrance to the park. You will need comfortable shoes, there are a lot of irregularities, the paths are covered with rubble. When entering the park, it is better to immediately ask for a bracelet, if you exit from the other side, you can only go back at the entrance from the station, by bracelet or by buying a new ticket! on the territory of the park there are souvenir shops, cafes, a zipline attraction. we were in September 2020, there are a lot of tourists.

A picturesque park created on the site where the Finns and later Soviet workers mined marble. The heart of the park is a small lake formed on the site of the Marble Canyon. The place is very beautiful. Emerald water, rocks, stones, pines. The cleanest air. The park has equipped viewing platforms where you can take beautiful photos and videos as a souvenir or just stand there enjoying the wonderful panorama. For thrill-seekers, entertainment is provided, in particular, bungee riding. There is a cafe, mini bazaar and toilet. This paradise has its drawbacks. Firstly, getting here is not easy. From St. Petersburg, for example, you will have to go by car or bus for 4 hours (this is without traffic jams). Prices in the park bite. The entrance costs 350 rubles. Boating - 800 RUB Underground excursion - 1500 RUB This is not to say that it is wildly expensive. But they could have made prices lower. If you walk here to the fullest, you can spend a lot of money! On weekends, there are a lot of people here, which is also not very happy.
