I don't know, but in my opinion this can be done (and better done) upstairs. because well, there are a lot of steps down and then up to the parking lot))) get ready! and so - the nature is super! passing by, you can stop and take a break from the road and breathe fresh air. The people put the ticket office. The entrance is paid (I don't remember exactly) .. If you decide to visit with your family, it will turn out decently. But it is not clear why and for what? In the same place where the cash desk sells all sorts of pies (they did not taste it), there are awnings nearby, you can have a snack for your own. About the name itself, this is certainly not the VALLEY of Waterfalls, but several rapids. There are a lot of those in Karelia on the highway - Free!

We have discovered a new place in Karelia, the Eco-Park Valley of Waterfalls. Almost nearby))) from the south of St. Petersburg, only 230 km, i.e. wonderful trip one day. And Karelia is worth driving so much! The park has been in operation for the first season and it is difficult to judge its improvement so far. But there is already a small parking lot, a couple of tables with benches, an interesting toilet), wooden paths, benches along the route and beautiful stairs. By the way, it is indicated at the entrance that the price (now it is 150 rubles) includes exactly the use of parking, toilet and stairs. And here you go down these stairs and beauty ... the Ihalanjoki river and 4 rapids of the waterfall! We walked all day, until closing time, and when we came to the parking lot, our car was the only one. We decided to have tea and go, but then a guard came up to us, to clarify whether we were leaving, having received the answer that later, calmly left, waited until we left and closed the gate. This is me to compare with Ruskeala, there the guard got nasty and literally kicked us out of the parking lot !!! I hope that the Valley of Waterfalls will develop, it only gets better and let the same good attitude towards people remain))

Very nice, fresh and quiet. A healthy walk with kids and friends. No one steps on the heels, does not indicate what is possible and what is not ... You just swallow the Korelian air - it is pure and wonderful !!!! You will never get through with wheelchairs. Small on the shoulders !!!!
