Probably best described as a 'leisure centre with a budget hotel providing accommodation', the Akvatika had swimming pools, a gymnasium, cafeteria, etc; however the rooms were clean with basic facilities provided. Due to the high demand at the turn of the year for hotel rooms in Petrozavodsk as a whole, we had the last room available - a basic economy room. Rooms were serviced daily and all staff were helpful and pleasant. Our stay was enjoyable.

An excellent hotel with the opportunity to visit the aqua complex (swimming pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, hydromassage), a good location, an amazing view when leaving the hotel, very helpful staff, the rooms have everything you need, except maybe a refrigerator enough, but many other pluses make up for it significantly. Excellent value for money

The hotel is not very good. 1. The way to get inside after 21:00 is somehow horribly organized. If you come later, you will not be able to enter through the main entrance, you will have to "knock" on the guard and go to the room through the pool entrance. 2. Number of course luxury (no). I was surprised by the shower room, or rather, its absence. Its design includes only a curtain, a watering can and a drain hole in the floor. I saw this type of shower for the last time in a guest house in Shepsi. Naturally, during the washing process, the entire bathroom is filled with water. In addition, although we rented a double room, the second berth was not a bed, but a narrow sofa (probably a folding one), which creaked with every movement. 3. There was hope for a cafe or at least some access to food, but alas. The cafe was closed. There were no eateries near the hotel. The only thing that saved us was a coffee machine, kindly placed in the lobby, and a pizza delivery service. There was no kettle in the room (but there is a cooler in the corridor), no microwave oven, you can only warm up food at the reception, again, until 21:00. 4. Price. For all of the above, for two nights in a double room, we had to pay 5040 rubles. Before that, we had a chance to stay in a hostel, which cost 600 rubles per person per night, and it was much more comfortable there, showers, although common, but at least they were. The microwave and the kitchen in general were also freely available. Well, our room was also on the ground floor and in the middle of the night someone knocked on our window🤪

First time in Petrozavodsk. We settled in the Aquatika hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. We visited the pool, also liked it. You can swim, do hydromassage.
