Khram Muchenitsy Tatiany

Historical reference. For the construction of a church-chapel in honor of the Holy Martyr Tatiana, the rector of the university V.A. Bondarenko was blessed by Metropolitan Leonty of Orenburg and Buzuluk. On September 1, 1999, the rite of laying the first stone in the foundation of the church took place, which was performed by Archbishop Valentin of Orenburg and Buzuluk. Construction continued until January 2001. The temple was built according to the project of the OSU rector, professor V. A. Bondarenko. Initially, the building was planned to be built as a chapel, but with the blessing of Metropolitan Valentine, a throne was installed in the church to serve the Divine Liturgy, thereby the status of the chapel was transferred to the status of the house church of the Holy Martyr Tatiana. On January 25, the Rite of consecration of the house church of the Holy Martyr Tatiana was performed by His Eminence Valentin, Archbishop of Orenburg and Buzuluk.
