Once, about 50 years ago, this square was called the Dog Garden. Then he was ennobled. They cut down old trees, paved and asphalted paths, planted birch alleys, arranged flowerbeds. What did the Solovki youths have to do with this garden? I have not found any historical documents on this issue.
