Church. Lost. Thrones: John Chrysostom Year of construction: approximately no later than 1909. Year of loss: Not established. Address: Russia, Chelyabinsk region, Zlatoust, the old Urenginsky cemetery Coordinates: 55.172095, 59.654851 (approximately) Next to the Urenginsky cemetery was the St. John Chrysostom Church, which the people called the cemetery. In old photographs with a panorama of Zlatoust, you can see a modest, cubic building at the cemetery. Photographs where this church was shot in close-up have not yet been discovered. The idea of the St. John Chrysostom Church demolished in the 1930s can be obtained from the inventory of inventories drawn up in 1920. The inventory notes that it was "a half-stone temple, covered with iron, inside not plastered, in the lower floor of the temple - the room of the almshouse." The church had six bells (the largest weighed 75 pounds) and seventeen large and small icons. Based on materials from the book by Alekseev E.P., Tolkach V.D. "Zlatoust Necropolis". Zlatoust, 2005.
