It was laid on September 11, 2014 near the St. Simeonovsky Church, which is in the vicinity of the railway station. A small building will perpetuate the memory of the Urals who participated in the Russo-Japanese and World War I. Commemorative plaques will be placed on the walls of the building. And the chapel-temple will become a kind of monument to the heroes of these wars, among which was Colonel Pyotr Pobyvanets, commander of the famous Moksha Regiment, who lodged in Zlatoust. He was mortally wounded in battles with the Japanese in Manchuria, his fellow soldiers brought to Zlatoust and buried in the old Simeonovsky church. It was here that the regiment's bandmaster Ilya Shatrov wrote the famous waltz “On the Hills of Manchuria”, dedicated to the Moksha warriors who did not return from the war. Zlatoust Church of the Holy Righteous Simeon of Verkhotursky is located near the station. From here, trains with soldiers left for the front. Wounded soldiers were also brought here. As the rector of the church, Archpriest Viktor Frolov, notes, the construction of the chapel will be a repayment of the memory of Russian soldiers, including the unknown, who fought and laid their heads in the name of the beloved and God of this Fatherland.
