The Museum of the History of the Tram (or another name - the Museum of the Development of the Zlatoust Tram Department "ZTU") is one of the youngest in Zlatlust, despite the already quite long history of this type of transport. The museum is located on the territory of the tram depot and was created by ZTU "Tram Management" for the storage, study and public presentation of museum collections. The expositions of the museum acquaint with the transport of Zlatoust of the XIX - early XX centuries, talk about the origin of electric transport in Russia, about the first projects of an electric tram in Zlatlust, and its work during the Great Patriotic War. The funds of the museum are quite rich - more than one thousand photographs, many documents and exhibits. The guide will tell you a lot of interesting things about the electric transport of Zlatoust. Opening hours of the Zlatoust tram history museum: Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Friday until 4:00 pm). Before visiting the museum, you need to call in advance to obtain a pass to the depot territory for visiting the open-air museum.
