I came here by a Free coupon of tea after visited Museum of the Frog Princess that located on the opposite. That's interesting that the taste of foods was so good. Fresh ingredients and seasonal. Try if you visit Rostov.

I give 5 stars to a hotel, not a restaurant. There are 3 stars with a stretch. The hotel complex of two hotels Tsarevna-Frog and Ivan Tsarevich is very conveniently located, prices are inexpensive. For a stop for 2-3 days, that's it. Very friendly staff. We took 4 junior suites in Frog. Warm, comfortable. They only came to the room to sleep. There is parking. Allowed (by prior arrangement) to move in with the animals. We were with the cat. Also in the Frog there is a museum dedicated to frogs and the frog princess, worth a visit))) If you take the included breakfasts, then you will have to eat across the road (if you live in Frog) to Ivan Tsarevich. But it is literally 40 meters from door to door. Breakfast menu is discussed in advance. The breakfasts are delicious and satisfying. But I do not recommend eating outside of breakfast in Ivan Tsarevich. The principle of the kitchen is that they are not for customers, but customers are for them. Despite the indicated opening hours until 23-00, the kitchen may be closed already at 21-30, half of the dishes from the menu will not be, they will show with all their kind that they are doing you a favor. On the first evening they came at 21-20, they refused to serve us, as the kitchen is now closing. On the second evening (I just wanted to try the cuisine) we came at 20-45, there was a sign about special services, but the administrator from our hotel showed us, and there was no special service. In the hall 2 tables were occupied. We were told that they were doing us a favor by accepting us, since the kitchen was about to leave, but for our sake they were persuaded to stay for half an hour. Half of the ordered 15 minutes later turned out to be missing. But we must pay tribute, delicious. Conclusion. We settle in the Frog Princess or in Tsarevich Ivan, we have breakfast in Tsarevich Ivan, and the rest of the food is wherever we want, but if we are lazy, then 100 meters from the frog there is a cozy restaurant "Pokrovskie Vorota". There it is tasty and customer-oriented and works until 00-00.

Excellent restaurant at the hotel! Delicious and inexpensive! This is not the first time we have stayed here.
