Lovers of Asian cuisine will love it. Acceptable prices. A varied menu. There are many rare (for the establishments of our city) dishes. Fast service at lunchtime. There is a business lunch. Good music. Friendly staff.

I wanted to see sushi and a new establishment with a lot of positive reviews. A really great place with an open kitchen. If you like to watch the chefs cook for you, like to sit a meter away from the kitchen professional and even have a few words with him, then Karas is definitely for you. The establishment is small, in a semi-basement room, several tables along the walls, but the most important thing is a long bar counter behind which there are a couple of places where sushi men stand and make cold snacks, and they have a hot shop behind them. If you sit down at the bar, then your salad will be cut right in front of your eyes, or dry land will be collected, you can even chat with the chef, they are very open and welcoming. The menu is quite plentiful: sushi with sashimi, wok with udon, and even langoustines are offered here. Very good bar and interesting cocktails and varied teas! So why do you put on one ball once you liked everything so much, the venerable audience will ask. Unfortunately, the whole impression was crossed out by an unexpected guest. Probably my langoustines were very tasty and then a cockroach crawls out onto the bar and proudly runs between my plates. Of course, I understand everything: an open kitchen is difficult, but if a cockroach ran out into the light on a white surface, imagine what a nightmare is going on in the kitchen itself, they should be teeming there, so the most desperate run out into the room. A runaway cockroach - what little thing? No! It's not just a cockroach, but a lack of cleanliness control, sanitation and, consequently, a devil-may-care attitude from both the management and the owners of the restaurant! And it was clear from the reaction of the waiter - this is far from an isolated case - the girl with a practiced movement grabbed a cockroach and carried it ... to the kitchen кух And by the way, the promised manager never came out (also the event “a cockroach runs between plates”) sent the waiter with the phrase “at the expense of the establishment”. Superfluous confirmation of the routine of this incident for this institution! Very sorry! I thought that I had found a good restaurant with an open kitchen, but now I will definitely recommend all my friends to bypass it far away.
