The construction of the monastery was started in 1996 instead of the destroyed Pokrovskaya church, closed and demolished in 1961. The monastery consists of a cathedral and two buildings - the refectory and the cell building. The place for the future monastery was chosen on the outskirts of the city, in a small pine grove. At this place was originally the Intercession Church. The monastery complex consists of a refectory and a cell building. The monastery will become the largest in the Altai Territory. This is the first monastery in the last few years, which is not being restored on the site of the destroyed one, but is being built from scratch.

They wanted to baptize the child on 08/07/2018. We arrived as expected at 10.00. waited until 12.00. But this is not a problem. The cross was golden. What they told us, how to find the grandmother, who gave your cross, we will return it. But it did not suit us. How so. Our cross was given to a stranger. We turned to the eldest. And she solved our problem. They gave us money. If they had not given it up. We would go to the police. We were spoiled by the christening. Left without a cross. Sergius the boor.
