The Catholic Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord has a very peculiar and unusual architecture, combining elements of Art Nouveau with stylized forms of the Romanesque and Gothic style. Construction began in the spring of 1992 and completed in the summer of 1997. The solemn consecration took place on August 10, 1997. The author of the project is V.V. Borodkin.
