Jama Umar bin Al-Khattab (جامع عمر بن الخطاب) is one of the biggest mosques in Badr. It has a big enough mosque to hold up to 1000- 1500 worshipers at a time. It has facility for ladies as well. On every Friday after Evening (مغرب) prayer there are Islamic lessons for common people. Also the special arrangements for ladies enhance the religious awareness among women as well. Also a school of learning Quran has been set within the Mosque where young ones learn and memorise the Quran. It's location is just in front of Saptco bus Station. Well maintained washrooms both for men and women can't put you in a trouble even if you are in a journey.
