في هذه المعركة تجلت شجاعة علي بن ابي طالب رضي الله عنه وارضاه حين قتل عمرو بن ود من اشجع الفرسان في زمنه.. وايضاً فضل سلمان الفارسي رضي الله عنه في ارشاده المؤمنين الى حفر الخندق.. وايضاً موقد نار حرب غزوة الخندق او الاحزاب هم رؤساء يهود بني النضير : حيي بن اخطب وسلام بن مشكم وكنانة بن الربيع.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite the verse from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) And it is narrated also in Saheeh Muslim that Aisha bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allaah be pleased with her) and her father said: How can I say, O Messenger of Allaah? - It means visiting the graves -, said to her Muhammad peace be upon him: (saying: peace on the people of the homeland of the believers and Muslims, and God is pleased with the applicants of you and the rest of us, and we, God willing, you later).
