Prophet ﷺ rested here upon his return from Ghazwa e Uhud. Banu Haritha tribe lived near this place and gave way to Yazid ibn Muawiyah's army to enter Madinah through this area. Yazid army plundered and killed inhabitants of Madinah. Whenever Prophet (ﷺ) used to visit grave of Hamza (رضی الله عنہ) and other martyr's of Uhud, he takes rest here. Masjid Al Mustaraha, the place where the Messenger of Allah rested while returning from the battle of Uhud. The word 'Mustarah' itself means 'The place for Resting'. Its also the starting place from where the Trench (Khandaq) were dug for the Battle of Trench (Khandaq).

Mosque as really significant value in Islamic history and for Muslims all over the word. As our beloved last prophet Mohammad peace be upon him rest at this mosque after the battle of Uhad.

Masjid where the prophet rested during the battle of uhud, every act of Muhammad (pubh) is documented and places marked and historically validated, Islam has the perfect methods of information preservation, mistaraha name of the masjid is taking rest , here prophet took rest and we still pray here and still it is a place of respect for general Muslims and historical value for people to come
