Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Abdullah ibn Abi Qahfa al-Timi al-Qurashi (50 BC - 13 AH / 573 CE - 634 CE) is the first adult caliph, and one of the ten missionaries of Paradise, the minister of the Prophet of Islam and his companion, and his companion when he emigrated to Medina. Ahl al-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah considers him the best of the people after the prophets and apostles, and the most companions of faith and asceticism. Usually the name of Abu Bakr is appended to the title of Siddiq, a surname given to him by the Prophet Muhammad for his many believers.
