Great school! I’ve spent 7 years there.

One of the worst schools in Jeddah don’t recommend this school at all!!!

Bad service. Administration is unhelpful. Did not receive the expected level of education considering the fees; extremely overpriced. For the first year of my attendance about 80% of the teachers where teaching at a high level. Last two years the standards declined drastically. Payment was pretty much obligatory if any help was required by the students, and that includes the students’ health and academic performance. The administration bans soft drinks and potato chips, although they sell chocolate milk, cookies, and have overpriced pizza and fried chicken days. Lockers must be paid for, which is absolutely ridiculous considering the daily agenda that includes extremely thick and heavy textbooks; not healthy for still developing kids and teenagers. That reveals another problem. Why are they using textbooks instead of tablets at that price they’re asking? Teachers easily lost control of classes and had a hard time regaining control. Throughout my three years I’ve only had 4 or 5 teachers willing to help students after class or during their own breaks. Academically achieved students are not rewarded while student athletes are. I thank god to be academically successful, but others aren’t as successful and they didn’t receive the necessary help. The toilet rooms are filthy, with no toilet paper or garbage cans (blame is on both administration and students; students are extremely undisciplined) and broken stall doors. There is no dedicated prayer area, they just roll out filthy old mats that aren’t even enough to house all the students of the break session, so some people had to pray on the dirty playground floor. This school is run upon greed, with customer satisfaction as the last concern. I advise you from experience, but you can waste your money and your child’s potential if you want to. Peace be upon you all ☪️💟

Graduated from this school in 2019 and started my studies in the year 2017/2018 (grade 11) so only had 2 years experience in this establishment. My first year was tough as I had to get use to the load of work and exams. But as the months passed I realized the more the better as it gives students a better chance if they haven't done well in some tests. The teachers are very close to the students and are ready to do anything to help the students achieve. The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 is because of the boys school was way to small for the number of students there where, we use to get crushed in hallways when it was break time and there was barely any place to sit during the brake. Other then that the staff are very helpful and understanding towards the students. I must mostly give credits to the schools principle who use to come every morning at our gathering talking to us senior students about our future and motivating us. My experience was good, DarJana has changed me a lot. It gives the student a sense of belonging and strengthens the mentality. I am now far away from Jeddah in a diffrent country studying in University but I will never forget my roots, this country and this school that gave me so much. Thank you.
