College of science has improved rapidly past10 years

The Royal Decree was issued to establish a College of Science at the King Saud University Branch in Qassim on 12/1/1418 AH, to be another building block in the edifice of higher education and part of the university city system in Qassim, and the study began in the College of Science in the academic year 1418/1419 AH, and graduation was completed The first batch of its students was in the academic year 1422/1423 AH, and the college at that time included among its departments the Department of Computers and the Department of Microbiology, until a high approval was issued to establish Qassim University, and these two departments became the nucleus of two independent colleges, and at the same time the Royal approval was issued to open Department of Chemistry in the College of Science. The total number of students of the college is about 4000 students, in addition to 130 faculty members (males and females) from various research schools, divided into five academic programs: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, in addition to statistics and operations research. It also includes 9 master's programs (a master's program in mathematics, 4 master's programs in chemistry, and 4 master's programs in physics) and two research centers, in addition to a specialized and peer-reviewed scientific journal in natural sciences and mathematics, of which 18 issues have so far been issued. College data indicate that the student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 1: 233

The College of Science, Qassim University The college was opened in 1418 AH when it was affiliated with the branch of King Saud University in Al-Qassim. It included the following departments: (Department of Mathematics - Department of Physics - Department of Medical Microbiology - Department of Computer). Then it became part of the Qaseem University upon its establishment in the year (1424 AH). The Computer Department, which became part of the Computer College and the Department of Medical Microbiology, became affiliated with the College of Applied Medical Sciences and the Department of Chemistry was added to the College of Science in 1426 AH. The college supervises the College of Arts and Sciences in the Journal of Scientific Departments for Girls, which includes: (Department of Mathematics - Department of Physics - Department of Chemistry - Department of Statistics - Department of Biology). All departments of the faculty (mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology) are accredited internationally by the German accreditation body ASIN. All scientific departments are awarded the bachelor's and master's degrees in the following specializations: (Master of Science in Pure Mathematics - Master of Science in Theoretical Physics - Master of Science in Nuclear Physics - Master of Science in Solid State Physics - Master of Science in Physics - Master of Science in Physical Chemistry - Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry - Master of Science in Organic Chemistry - Master Science in inorganic chemistry).
