Forgive him, Sheikh Ibn Baz Visiting graves is a sure and confirmed year for our Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - because he - may God bless him and grant him peace - visited the graves and said: "Falsely graves, it reminds you of the Hereafter." And he - peace and blessings be upon him - taught his companions, if they visited the graves, to say: (Peace be upon you, the people of the homes of the believers and Muslims, and, God willing, you will follow, we ask God for us and you for wellness), and in Bukhari’s narration he used to say - may God bless him and grant him peace: - God, the ones who are brought in from us and those who are tired, may God forgive the people of Baqi 'Al Gharqad. The Sunnah is for men to visit graves, because it reminds the Hereafter, it reminds death and helps to prepare for the Hereafter, and it is desirable for him to say what the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - taught his companions - peace and blessings be upon him - so the visitor says: (Peace be upon you, the people of the home from believers and Muslims, and if He wills May God grant you success. We ask God for our health and health for you. As for women, no, women do not visit graves because - may God bless him and grant him peace - cursed grave visitors. Women do not visit graves. As for men, it is prescribed for them to visit graves, but they do not say desertion, meaning: they do not say bad words, so it is not permissible to pray the dead or to seek help from the dead, nor to ask them for support as some ignorant do. This is evil and polytheism, so it is not permissible for a Muslim to invite the dead or to seek help from them, because the dead has interrupted his work except from three: ongoing charity or knowledge that benefits him, or a good boy calling for him, but whether he is asked for support, assistance or relief, whether he is a prophet, guardian or others It is not permissible, but this pertains to God alone who is called and asked, and so it is permissible with the present living creature. There is nothing wrong with you saying: O my present brother, give me such-and-such-helped me to lend me, help me build my house, to fix my car there is nothing wrong, but the dead does not ask, he said The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him -: “If you ask, ask God and if you seek help, seek the help of God.” And God Almighty says: Do not call with God anyone (18) Surat Al-Jin. As for what some of the ignorant do to some graves, he says: O my master, so the durations are extended, or help me, or heal my patients. What is meant by this is that he visits the graves and invites them with forgiveness and mercy, and nothing more than requesting anything from them. He does not say intercede for me or heal my sick or extended periods or the like. No, he only visits them as the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - visited them - and as the companions of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - visited them - greet them and pray for them with forgiveness and mercy, and this brings the remembrance of death and mention of the hereafter. As for allocating visits to graves after the Eid prayer, as if visiting the living and the dead, this has no basis, and I did not know about the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - nor about the Companions that they used to go out to Al-Baqi after the Eid prayer, and the good to follow the righteous predecessors, the good to follow the Messenger - prayers God be upon him- and his companions, God Almighty said: Say: “If you love God, then follow me. God loves you and forgives your sins (31) Surat Al Imran.” The fact that he takes a visit to the graves after the Eid prayer is a method followed by what I see as leaving that, but if it is better for him .... that time he visited them not for the intent that this is a year, or that this is a suitable time this is ok to visit them in the morning or evening or at night or after Fajr prayer, all of this is OK, because being dedicated after the Eid prayer and sees that this is a special year or year, this we do not know for him at all, but if he comes unintentionally over the day of Eid, or after the Eid prayer or at the end of the day of the Eid and visits the graves, Not because I mean that this is a year or that this time is right, so there is nothing wrong with this.
