Al-Hasan Al-Muthanna Bin Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi (37 - 97 AH / 661 - 715 AD) from Aal al-Bayt, a follower of the narrators of the noble Prophet's hadith, whose nickname is Abu Muhammad, the chief of the students during his reign. He was born in Medina and spent his life there. He is one of the sons of Al-Hassan Al-Sabt bin Ali bin Abi Talib from his wife Khawla bint Manzoor. The title of Muthanna was given by the later people in order not to confuse the name with his name, and his father, Al-Hassan Al-Sibt, may be confused and fall. He is known to the people of hadith and in heritage books as Al-Hassan bin Al-Hassan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, as well as his son Abdullah Al-Kamil was known by the ancients and narrators of hadith.
When Al-Hassan Al-Sibt died, he left his son, Al-Hassan Al-Muthanna, at an age ranging between ten years at the least and thirteen years at the most. This is based on extrapolating the date of his birth, as I have shown in our book on his translation. Al-Hassan Al-Muthanna lived the tragedy of his father’s killing and he drank from the cup of an orphan, himself, when he was a boy under thirteen years of age. His father had recommended to him the order of the charity of his grandfather, Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with them all. It was said: Nineteen years, and eighteen surgeries occurred to him until he fell in the midst of the dead, so his uncle Asma bin Kharga Al-Fazari carried him and brought him back to Kufa and healed his wounds. Bin Ali, his uncle's daughter, and his uncle Hussein bin Ali was his wife. Other sources of Islamic history remember: His uncle Imam Husayn attended the Taf incident, and when Imam Hussein was killed and the rest of his family were captured, Asma bin Kharga came to him, so he snatched him from among the prisoners and said: By God no It never reaches Ibn Khawla. Omar bin Saad said: They called Abu Hassan, the son of his sister, and so he was released. It was narrated that he had wounds from which he had healed.
Abd al-Malik bin Marwan was fearful of al-Hasan al-Muthanna. The latter was accused of writing to the people of Iraq and that they believed him to be a caliphate, so that Al-Walid bin Abdul-Malik, as previously mentioned, ordered him to flog Medina, so the worker did not flog him, and Al-Walid wrote to absolve him. It was said to Al-Hassan: Did not the Messenger of God say: “Whoever you are, I must be his master.” He said: Yes, but by God, the Messenger of God did not mean that the emirate and the Sultan, and if he wanted that, he would disclose it to them. The owner of the mayor of the student said: Abd al-Rahman bin al-Ash’ath had called for him and pledged allegiance to him, and when Abd al-Rahman was killed following his revolution, al-Hasan disappeared until al-Walid bin Abd al-Malik, who gave him poison, died, and he was thirty-five years old. (And there is a dispute about the age of his death). And it is narrated that he saw in his sleep shortly before his death, as if it was written between his eyes: ((Say, God is One)), so his family was glad and rejoiced, so they presented the vision to Saeed bin Al-Musayyib, and he said: If he saw it, the rest of his life would be less, and it was not long before he died And that was in the year (97 AH). He died in Medina and was buried in Yanbu, and exactly in Yanbu al-Nakhl, and his shrine is known between the farm and the deserted ...
God bless his Messenger Muhammad and his family and companions as a whole
