The dam was built during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, in the year 1434 AH and has a length of 114 meters and a height of 35 meters, storing 972 thousand cubic meters. The place is very cool. The road reaches the end of the dam and there are places and trees for picnicking, but unfortunately there is some messing around by some hikers cutting trees and leaving waste.
