As a university the structure of the administration (RC) and teaching faculty behave separately not as a single entity. Salary standard for the expat faculty is low compared to North America or Europe. The teaching staffs are generally good and as most of them are PhD holders. However the campus is temporary and very unattractive though new campus is under construction. Poor Employee Benefit and negligible research activity. In the HR department the employee support staffs are not cooperative, most of the time they are on the cell phone and does not bother to look at you when you go to their office only exception is the government relation person. HR people are very reluctant to answer any question and help on any issues. Also the property department is not cooperative to find right apartment for the faculty. Any expat interested to join JUC should do their own research before making decision. I also like to make recommendations to the JUC management to have a unity relation between the departments like HR, Academic, Student affairs, Research and development, etc. Also the teacher should be encouraged to have a sense of authority and responsibility at the same time to feel like a member of the JUC. Must facilitate research activities for the faculties and students to improve the image of JUC and attract quality students and teacher.

All in all,it's a good college to study at ,great staff , they will help you whatever you need.The engineering program there is outstanding (ABET) baby... When it comes to the buildings you have to be patient, inshallah the new campus will be available in 2020. From my own experience it may be a great university like KFUPM.

Their English language programme is top notch, and their English teachers are very good.
