We took the 102 bus to La Libertad with two bicycles and a lot of luggage. The guy was very friendly and allowed us just to put our bikes in the back - blocking the emergency exits (yay, safety!). It cost a little extra - $2.50 each with bikes. In La Libertad the stop was a little stressful - just in the middle of a street - if you don't need to stay in the town, if you go a bit further you can go to the depot and it's probably a lot less stressful!
