One of the most beautiful buildings in San Lorenzo and demonstrates the faith and patience that the locals have had in their reconstruction. The original temple was destroyed by the 2001 earthquake and lost one of the oldest architectural gems of the country. In front of its square many communal activities are realized and the tourists can enjoy two very important festivals: Festival of the Jocote Red Baron and the one of the Loroco, a delight for the palate.
