Super basic room really close to the volcano trailhead. No food, wifi or warm water. Just a very basic cabana. Definitely needs much warmer blankets. The staff is nice but not really much else.

Sadly this place isn't a joke. The food is non-existent and poorly priced.

This place is perfect to stay if you are doing multiple hikes like we did. Perfect location for all the volcano hikes. Simple cabins with everything you need, it does get very cold at night and I wasn't ready for that. They do offer food so you don't have to leave the area, there is also tons of food and fruits up in the "complejo de volcanes" where everyone meets up for the hikes. I highly recommend "Gerson" he was our tour guide for 2 days of hikes, he is very knowledgeable about the area and the volcanoes. He goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you have a great time there. The tour guides don't work for the cabins, they work for tips but they are certified so please be generous on your tips, they barely suggest $1 but I would leave $5-$10 depending on your guide, ours was the best in our opinion.

I didn't stay here, but left my car here for safety before going up the volcano. 2 dollars to park the car here. They have toilets that cost 25 cent. You need an armed police escort up which cost 1 dollar and admission is 6 dollars. It takes 2 hours up the volcano.
