Old church with the bronze tomb of Archbishop Oscar Romero in the basement. Very interesting story about his life and how he was helping the people of El Salvador. Also how he was murdered on the front steps of a church. Be warned there are some graphic photos of his murder.

All was nice. Note that at least on Saturdays the church is closed between x time around noon and only reopens at 4 pm. Also if you go by Uber you cannot take an Uber back from downtown area.

Its one of historical buildings in downtown San Salvador, as a Cathedral u can fine peace in your soul and good place to relax in deeply meditations , well recommend
